Moving

When you move into or out of the building, please submit a change of address notification to us! Based on your notification, we record the residents’ information in the building register.

Remember to also submit a change of address notification to your housing company’s maintenance team, as they maintain the building registers for potential key issues and, if desired, can change the names on the exterior door and the building directory. Additionally, you must also notify the Digital and Population Data Services Agency about the move.

This change of address notification does not replace the obligation to submit an official change of address. The official notification must be made to the Post Office/Magistrate.

Please note that it is not possible to terminate a lease agreement with this form; that must be done separately to the landlord.

Please also include the email addresses and phone numbers of the adults moving in (or out) for important messages.

This change of address notification does not replace making the statutory change of address notification. The official change of address notification must be submitted to Posti (Finnish postal service) / Maistraatti (Finnish Digital and Population Data Services Agency)

Please note the practice in your housing association, as the maintenance company may charge for the visit. Your apartment's meter may also be located in the common areas of the housing association, in which case self-reporting may not be possible.
Can the maintenance company enter the apartment using a master key to read the meters during the move?
